Phyllis Ann Beer, 93, Nappanee, died unexpectedly of natural causes at 10:41 a.m., Monday, Dec., 30, 2019, at Elkhart General Hospital Emergency Room. She was born Dec. 18, 1926, in Goshen to Roy and Orpha (Kring) Blosser.
Mrs. Beer was a lifetime area resident. She was a graduate of New Paris High School and had worked at 20th Century Restaurant.
Surviving are her children, Barney (Natalie) Beer, Goshen; Tyrann Beer, Nappanee; Rodney (Kathy) Beer, Syracuse; Tracy (Dee) Beer, Nappanee; grandchildren, Scott (Alex) Beer, Fort Lauderdale; Brooks (Kip) Goebel, Phoenix, Ariz.; Ryan (Erin) Beer, Nappanee; Kevin (Laurie) Beer, Milford; Matthew (Alyssa) Beer, Syracuse; Jason (Whitney) Beer, Milford; Travis (Julie) Beer, Nappanee; Anna Kitson, Seattle, Wash.; Katherine Kitson, Stockholm, Sweden; 11 great grandchildren; and sister, Lonita (“Dunny”) Checcio, Elkhart. She was preceded in death by her great granddaughter, Hope Beer, and brother, Robert Blosser.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 2, 2020 at Milford Cemetery. Pastor Mike Raasch, pastor of Living Gospel Church , Nappanee will officiate.
