UPDATE: More Information Related To Armed Robbery At Lake City Bank In Pierceton
PIERCETON — The Pierceton Police Department is seeking the community’s assistance in locating a robbery suspect.
An armed robbery at the Lake City Bank in Pierceton happened at 1:55 p.m. Monday, Dec. 23. As the man entered the bank, he displayed a black handgun and ordered bank employees to the ground. Surveillance video shows him wearing a cream-colored South Pole hooded sweatshirt with brown elbow patches, blue jeans, blue gloves with white tips and a blue bandana covering his face.
The suspect placed the money in a red drawstring-type backpack with white lettering before fleeing the bank on foot.
Anyone with information concerning the crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-(800)-342-STOP. Crime Stoppers will pay up to one thousand dollars if your information leads to an arrest or indictment. Crime Stoppers also pays cash rewards on other felony crimes and the capture of fugitives.

Police have not linked this robbery with three robbery attempts in Warsaw in recent weeks.
