Located in the beautiful Village at Winona at 801 East Canal St., this gallery offers the charm and culture of Italy right here in Kosciusko County, said a news release from Artista.
Meet the renowned modern artists of Italy who carry on the tradition of artisanship from the rich history of the Italian Renaissance. Admire the different styles and techniques of these oil-on-canvas paintings and hand-crafted Venetian masks. These Venetian and Roman artists trained as apprentices with distinguished artists and worked to achieve their own celebrated status. Many come from generations of artists who operate family galleries. Appreciate the rich history of these artists and their collections, and view photographs of the iconic cityscapes that inspired their art, taken by owner Chris Sanchez.
Artista will also exhibit talented local artists who will add flavor to the classical backdrop of the gallery. These unique works create personality and style that will resonate with you and highlight your personality in your space. Visit Artista to view some of the best Italian and local art available.
Artista is owned by Chris Sanchez and operated by Madison Clay. Sanchez was inspired to create a gallery after he bought a work of art in Venice while on vacation with his daughter. He recognized the beauty in the artist’s story and wanted to share the captivating art and its origins with his fellow Hoosiers. Come visit the gallery at 801 E Canal St, Winona Lake to find the work of art that captures your eye.
