Proposal In The Park: Logansport Man Proposes To Girlfriend
WARSAW — Ethan Brown of Logansport and Tayler Mylin of Warsaw had one of their first dates at the Central Park holiday light display in Warsaw last winter.
So it was only fitting that they return. On Wednesday night, Dec. 11, Ethan proposed to Tayler at Glover Pavilion, with the Central Park Christmas lights in the background. Tayler said “yes” to Ethan’s proposal.
The moment was captured on camera by local photographer Al Disbro.
Tayler’s parents, Rick and JoLynn Mylin of Warsaw, and Ethan’s parents, Joe and Miki Brown of Logansport, helped set things up after receiving permission from the Warsaw Parks Department and were there for the proposal.
Ethan’s mother and aunt made two signs — a lighted one that displayed the question “Will you marry me?” and another with “She said yes” on it. Tayler’s parents helped set up roses in the shape of a heart around the stage area.
“I was completely surprised by it,” Tayler said. “He included both sets of our parents in the whole process, even down to picking out the ring.”
“Congratulations to the couple. We’re happy they chose Central Park,” said Warsaw Parks Superintendent Larry Plummer. “We hope they come and visit the park each year on their anniversary.”
