PIONEER 45, TRITON 29
Pioneer used 16 points from Gage Cripe and 15 points from Jacob Brown to beat the Trojans Friday night.
The two Panthers added 10 rebounds, seven assists and four steals in a solid show.
Ashton Oviedo led Triton with 10 points and four assists and Tyson Yates recorded eight points and four rebounds.
Cole McKinney ended with 19 points and Lucas Cabrera added 10 points and eight rebounds as Triton rolled to a 50-28 JV win over Pioneer.
PORTAGE CHRISTIAN 69, LAKELAND CHRISTIAN ACADEMY 30
Portage used double figures from four different players to run past LCA.
Noble Deanie and Mason Theriault led the visitors with 15 points each while Carson Liechty had 14 points and Michael Perry added 13 points in the lopsided win.
Cam Shepherd led the Cougars with seven points and Peter Koller, Matthew Helton and Landon Paris all finished with six points.
WARSAW 71, LAKE CENTRAL 61
The Tigers added a nice road win to its work report Friday night at Lake Central.
Blake Marsh scored a season-high 24 points with four rebounds for the Tigers. Marsh was 10-13 from the floor as the Tigers shot 59 percent for the night. Wyatt Amiss hit five three-pointers and finished with 19 points and Luke Adamiec added 11 points and five boards.
Nick Anderson had a big night for the Indians, finishing with 37 points. Anderson was a perfect 10-10 from the free throw line. Nate Oakley added 10 points and three rebounds.
Lake Central won the JV game 46-44. Judah Simfukwe led the Tigers with 20 points and Jaxon Gould added 12 points.
In the freshman game, Russ Winchester scored 13 points and Drew Heckaman added 12 points, but Warsaw fell 47-39 to the Indians. The hosts outscored the Tigers 16-4 in the fourth quarter to rally for the win.
