Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department responded to the following accidents:
7:17 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, 1095 Polk Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Caitlyn E. Smart, 24, EMS B33 Lane, Warsaw. Smart was driving her vehicle when she said her accelerator stuck. She maneuvered her car off the paved driveway into the grass and collided with a concrete light post in order to stop her vehicle. Damages up to $5,000.
Winona Lake
Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department responded to the following accident:
11:20 p.m. Monday, Dec. 2, East Winona Avenue near Argonne Road, Winona Lake. Drivers: Lindsey J. Halcomb, 21, SR 15, Goshen; and Leola M. Nelson, 58, West CR 250S Lot 62, Warsaw. Halcomb was waiting to drive her vehicle north at the flashing signal at Park Avenue and King’s Highway. Nelson was waiting in her vehicle to drive west on Kings’ Highway and Argonne Road. Halcomb started forward, did not see Nelson’s vehicle and caused a collision. Damages up to $2,500.
Fulton County
Officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following accidents:
7:51 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, Old US 31, Rochester. Drive: Lisa M. Calhoun, 56, Argos. Calhoun’s vehicle hit a deer. She refused medical treatment after the air bag deployed.
2:45 p.m. Monday, Dec. 2, CR 300W and CR 200N. Driver: Rose A. Hall, 38, Rochester. Hall’s vehicle struck two dogs.
12:24 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, US 31 and Monticello Road. Driver: Samantha R. Buchanan, 24, Dupont. Buchanan’s vehicle went off the road and rolled over. Buchanan sustained unknown injuries.
9:42 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, CR 550N and US 31. Driver: Donald E. Isom, 61, Rochester. Isom’s vehicle went off the roadway and into a ravine.
8:55 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, SR 25 and CR 500S. Driver: Paige E. Shafer, 19, Rochester. Shafer’s vehicle went off the roadway.
6:19 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, Wabash Avenue and US 31, Rochester. Driver: Brennon K. Durham, 17, Kokomo. Durham’s vehicle struck a utility pole.
1:49 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29, US 31 and Olson Road. Driver: Anna C. Carreon, 27, Indianapolis. Carreon reported a piece of wood fell off a truck and hit her vehicle.
