Joseph W. ‘Joe’ Howe
Joseph W. “Joe” Howe, 55, Cromwell, passed away at 11:28 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 28, 2019, at Goshen Hospital. He was born on July 26, 1964, in Fort Riley, Kan. to Ronald Elmer “Ron” and Margaret Louise “Peggy” (Schafer) Howe.
He graduated in 1982 from Wawasee High School in Syracuse and was a United States Marine Corps veteran. He lived most of his life in the North Webster and Syracuse area except a few years in North Carolina. He was married on July 29, 2000, in Pigeon Forge, TN to Lori Ann (Black) Taylor who survives. He was formerly employed at CVS in North Webster and Syracuse, Rinker Boat Company in Syracuse, and Walmart in Goshen.
He formerly attended the St. Francis Xavier Church in Pierceton and was a former member of the American Legion Post 253 in North Webster.
He is survived by his wife, Lori Howe, Cromwell; daughter, Freyja (Dustin North) Howe; son, Aiden Howe; one granddaughter; parents: Ron and Peggy Howe, Greenback, Tenn.; sister, Ronda Howe-Fields, Greenback, Tenn.; two brothers, Richard (Dorraine) Howe, Louisville, Tenn.; Jim Howe, Mansfield, Ohio.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 5, at Owen Family Funeral Home, SR 13 and CR 500N, North Webster. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 6, at the Mock Addition of the North Webster Cemetery.
