WCHS To Host Robotics State Qualifier Tournament In January
WARSAW — The engineering and technology departments of Edgewood Middle School, Lakeview Middle School, and Warsaw Area Career Center recently announced plans to jointly host the Warsaw Robotics Blended VEX VRC State Qualifier tournament.
The Tower Takeover event will take place on Jan. 18. Doors will open for the event at 7:30 a.m., with registration and inspection taking place from 8 to 9 a.m.
The tournament location will be held at the Tiger Recreation and Activity Center, located on the WCHS campus.
The event is scheduled to conclude at approximately 5:45 p.m. with an awards ceremony. Concessions will be available throughout the day with breakfast, lunch, beverages and snacks all available to guests and participants.
Schools participating in the vent include Plymouth High School, Lincoln Junior High School, Schmucker Middle School, Jay County High School, Winamac Community High School, Portage High School and Middle School, Speedway High School, Warsaw Area Career Center, Lake Central High School, John Glenn High Schoo, Southwood Jr./Sr. High School, Traders Point Christian Academy, Maconaquah High School and Northwood Middle School.
