Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following accidents:
7:10 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, East Old Road 30 near South Ballier Road, Pierceton. Driver: Elizabeth K. Erne, 23, South CR 400W, Warsaw. Erne was driving her vehicle when a deer entered the roadway. Damages up to $5,000.
11:42 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, West CR 900N near North SR 15, Milford. Drivers: Miya J. Kennedy Breeden, 19, North Orchard Drive, Warsaw; and Jared A. Smith, 21, South SR 13, Pierceton. Breeden was stopped in her vehicle at a light behind a semi. The semi started backing up, colliding with the front of Breeden’s vehicle. This caused Breeden to put her vehicle in reverse when the rear of her vehicle collided with the front of Smith’s vehicle. The semi left the scene. Damages up to $5,000.
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department responded to the following accidents:
3:13 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, US 30 near Commerce Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Ganzorig N. Batsukh, 35, East Braymore Circle, Naperville, Ill; and Thomas W. Barnes, 54, Main Street Road, Spring Grove, Ill. Barne’s vehicle, towing another vehicle, attempted to change lanes to the left and the towed vehicle collided with the front passenger side of Batsukh’s vehicle. Damages up to $5,000.
2:46 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, West Winona Avenue near South Union Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Ethan R. Heagy, 40, North CR 700W, Roann; and Monica M. Conde, 40, Eisenhower Parkway, Warsaw. Heagy was driving his postal vehicle approaching the intersection at South Union Street. As he pressed the brake, the postal vehicle slid on the wet pavement and collided with the rear of Conde’s vehicle. Damages up to $1,000.
Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department responded to the following accident:
8:43 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, 1005 Kings Highway, Winona Lake. Driver: Benita R. Bibler, 51, Trailside Drive, Winona Lake. Bibler turned left out of a parking lot and the front left of her vehicle collided with a metal post. Damages up to $10,000.
