Jo Anne Parker
Jo Anne Parker, 89, Warsaw, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2019, at 1:30 p.m. in Miller’s Merry Manor of Warsaw. Jo Anne was born on Jan. 2, 1930, in Fort Wayne, to Carlton Forrest and Olive (Pittman) Johnson. She was married to Philip Parker in Walnut Creek United Methodist Church, Warsaw.
She was a high school graduate and cheerleader at Etna Green High School. Jo Anne was a member of the Walnut Creek United Methodist Church. She worked in the mail room at DePuy Orthopedics in Warsaw. She also worked in an Alteration Shop and was a US Postmaster.
Jo Anne is survived by daughters, Karen Hummitch, Carmen Hoenie, Kathy (Jack) Keirn, Kris (Don) Westmen, Kim Wise, Debra Eschman, Cheryl Anglin, Mary Beth Anglin, Jeanine Smith, Kolleen Bush (spouse Brian Lansing), Katrina (Todd) Davis; sons, Ken Anglin, Kent (Tarri) Bush, Todd (Peggy) Anglin, Brian Anglin; siblings, Max Johnson, Dennis Johnson, Glenn Johnson. In addition, Jo Anne is survived by 27 grandchildren and 48 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husband Philip Parker in 2005; sons-in-law, Fred Hummitch, Jarry Wise, Dave Smith; siblings, Mary Welty and Sue Johnson.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 25, at the Walnut Creek United Methodist Church, Warsaw. Her funeral service will follow at the church at 1 p.m. with Pastor Greg Hiatt officiating. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw is entrusted with her care.
