Patterson Named Interim Editor-In-Chief
MILFORD — The Papers Incorporated Publisher Ron Baumgartner announced Deb Patterson will serve as the interim editor-in-chief for the company. Patterson will be filling the vacancy left by the death of Jeri Seely, editor-in-chief.
Patterson started in the editorial department at The Papers on a part-time basis through a high school program at Fairfield Junior/Senior High School in 1977-1978. She became a full time editorial employee in May 1978.
Patterson started out rewriting general news releases, and her job expanded to covering all areas in the reporting field and she has won numerous awards through HSPA. She is the former editor of four northern Indiana Senior Life publications and former editor for InkFreeNews.
The former Deb Fox resides in Milford, and is the mother of three children: Ollievia Sigsbee, Milford; Cody Patterson and wife Jen, North Webster; and Travis Patterson and wife Kristen, St. Peters, Mo. She has eight grandchildren with the ninth grandchild due in February.
