Bill L. Boardman
He married on May 6, 1950, in Logansport, to Miriam Ann Cain, she survives.
He was owner with his brother Jack of Boardman Chevrolet Sales in Bourbon, for 36 years.
He attended Wabash High School and furthered his education at the Chevrolet School for Dealers in Cincinnati, Ohio. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Mentone United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Scottish Rite and Mizpah Shrine of Fort Wayne, where he had been a part of the mini bike patrol. He also was a member of the American Legion of La Feria, Texas and the Sun Valley Village golf team and in past years had show horses.
The funeral service will be at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 19, at the Mentone United Methodist Church 116 E Main St, Mentone, with Pastor Jason Rice officiating.
Visitation hours will be from 2-6 p.m., at Mentone United Methodist Church.
The final remembrance place will be in the Mentone Cemetery, Mentone.
