Jenny L. Schieber, 73, Nappanee, died at 12:39 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, 2019, at Elkhart General Hospital, surrounded by family and friends. She was born Oct. 27, 1946, in Elkhart County to Paul E. & Mary Jane (Longfield) Schieber.

Surviving are an uncle, Dean (Laianada) Schieber, Wakarusa, an aunt, June Schieber, Wakarusa, cousins, Allen (Peggy) Schieber, Logansport, Sandra Schrock, Lima, Ohio, Collin (Jackie) Schieber, Wakarusa, Darin (Becky Boggs) Schieber, Nappanee, Dirk Schieber, Wakarusa and Dennis (Judy) Flora, Granger and many younger cousins.
Preceding her in death are her parents and two favorite aunts, Marie Schieber & Fern Schieber.
Jenny was a 1965 graduate of Wakarusa High School and worked as a cashier at Martin’s Supermarkets, Nappanee. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Jenny loved her family and her cat, Punky.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the 11 a.m. funeral service on Monday, Nov.18, 2019, at Calvary Baptist Church, 27664 CR 24, Elkhart. Pastor Timothy Wesco will officiate and burial will follow at Olive (East) Cemetery. Memorial donations may be directed to Calvary Baptist Church, Elkhart.
