Valley Well-Represented On All-TRC Football Scroll
WABASH – Tippecanoe Valley’s solid season in the Three Rivers Conference afforded the team several selections to the 2019 All-TRC football honor roll.
The conference splits its picks into All-TRC Offense, All-TRC Defense and Honorable Mentions. Dakota Gaff at running back, Jalen Potter at receiver and Harry Johnston on the offensive line were chosen All-TRC Offense for the Vikings while Jace Potter on the defensive line, Jaydin Conley in the secondary and Johnny Gonsalez at linebacker were All-TRC Defense. Tanner Trippiedi and Jasten Snapp were both selected as Honorable Mention for the 6-2 Vikings.
Southwood, the conference champs at 8-0, had quarterback Alex Farr, running back Gabe Lloyd and wide receiver Carson Rich as All-TRC Offense. Lineman Dillion Filip, linebacker Riley Whitesel and defensive back Elijah Sutton were all chosen All-TRC Defense for the Knights.
Completing the All-TRC Offensive list are North Miami quarterback Tristan Working, running backs Carter Little of Maconaquah, Daunte Majors of Peru and Isaiah Jackson of Rochester, wide receivers Darian Hanley of North Miami, Bryant Boggs of Wabash and Kreeden Krull of Manchester, linemen Garrett Spohn of Maconaquah, Bryce Kamphues of Manchester, Connor Wilson of North Miami, Ross Watson of Northfield, Draven Waters of Peru and Daulton Webb of Whitko. Maconaquah’s Rich Leary was chosen as the kicker and Kallen Kelsheimer of Wabash was the top athlete.
Completing the All-TRC Defensive list are linemen Jason Miller of Manchester, Trace Pugh of North Miami, Micah Higgins of Northfield, Jack Buckley of Peru and Luke Honeycutt of Wabash, linebackers Cole Wininger of Maconaquah, Graydon Holmes of Northfield, Bryce Abbott of Rochester, Keegan O’Neill of Wabash and Sam Makowski of Peru, and secondary picks of Seth Forsyth of Northfield, Dakota Scarlett of Peru and BJ Barnes of Rochester.
Honorable Mention selections include Nolan Kelly and Nate Harding of Maconaquah, Devin Marcum and Braxton Ream of Manchester, Levi Fulkerson and Logan Cox of Northfield, Greg Sonafrank and Nate Musselman of North Miami, Michael Chandler and Brayden Masters of Peru, Nick Allen and Landon Kelly of Rochester, Logan Barley and Connor Rich of Southwood, Cash Carmichael and Isaiah Eis of Wabash and Mason Lehman and Isaiah Kyles of Whitko.
Final standings in the TRC were Southwood at 8-0, Maconaquah at 7-1, Valley at 6-2, Northfield at 5-3, Manchester, Rochester, Peru and Wabash all at 3-5, North Miami at 2-6 and Whitko at 0-8.
