Miss Chloe Dawn Gross, 16, passed away in Indianapolis on Nov. 9, 2019.
On May 20, 2003, Chloe was born in Elkhart County. She was a cherished daughter of Ronald R. and Bettie McGlothin Gross. Growing up she shared her childhood with 15 siblings. Chloe was a freshman at Covenant Christian Academy.
With an appetite for classical music, Chloe enjoyed the composers Beethoven, Bach and Mozart. She was an avid reader owning a collection of Beverly Lewis novels. Pink was her favorite color. Chloe enjoyed the challenges of assembling 1000 piece puzzles. She was able to unleash her creativity with diamond paint. Chloe treasured spending time with her family making memories. They enjoyed many adventures camping and bicycling. Some of her favorite destinations were Alabama, Colorado, Frankenmuth and Indianapolis.
Left to cherish Chloe’s memory are her parents Ron and Bettie Gross; grandmother Eileen Gross of Leiter’s Ford; 15 siblings: Matt (Sherry) Gross of Akron; Nathan (Mary) Gross of Parker, Colo.; Angie (John) Hibner of Anderson; Velvet Musselman of Logansport; Tori Gross of Rochester; Andrea Gross of Plymouth; Emily Morales of Rochester; Shane Gross of Japan; Jayson Gross of Plymouth; Daniel Gross, Katie Gross, Liddy Gross, Ben Gross all of Rochester; Meg Gross of Florida; and Ray Gross of Illinois.
A celebration of the life of Miss Chloe Dawn Gross will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 19. Pastor Jim Howard will officiate. Friends may visit with her family from 4-7 p.m. on Monday and an hour prior to services. Preferred memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to the Rock Youth at the Church of the Heartland, 321 East 8th St., Rochester, IN 46975.
