Warsaw Woman Sentenced For Dealing Methamphetamine
WARSAW — A Warsaw woman was sentenced to three years at the Kosciusko County Jail after dealing methamphetamine.
Hannah Elaine Shea, 28, 1815 Hepler Drive, Warsaw, was charged with dealing in methamphetamine, a level 5 felony. A charge of possession of methamphetamine was dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
On Aug. 7, 2018, an officer with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office met with an informant who said they had arranged to purchase 1/2 gram of methamphetamine for $50 from Shea. The purchase was set to occur in Milford.
According to court documents, the officer met with the informant, who provided him with the methamphetamine purchased from Shea. The methamphetamine weighed .3 grams.
Judge Michael Reed sentenced Shea to three years at the KCJ, with the last year of the sentence suspended. Reed said he had no objection to Shea serving the last year of her sentence through work release or community corrections. Shea has 205 days of jail time credit in this case. The sentence will be served consecutively to two other criminal cases.
