Walnut Creek UMC Hosting Third Annual Holiday Bazaar
WARSAW—Walnut Creek United Methodist Church, located at the corner of State Road 15 and CR 200S, will be having their annual Holiday Bazaar from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16.
Over 20 vendors selling decorated gourds, bird houses, handmade jewelry, dog accessories, home décor, Christmas ornaments and décor, photo note cards, handbags, Honey, vinyl crafts, Tupperware, towel bags, Paparazzi jewelry, handmade pillows and blankets, knitted items, Thirty-One Gifts, journals, custom apparel and so much more. There will be a bake sale with various baked goods donated by church members to raise funds for their youth activities fund.
The high school youth will be serving lunch from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. The menu consists of the famous vegetable beef stew and chili made by church members. Hot dogs, sloppy joes, nachos and a wide variety of pies also fill the menu and your appetite while you shop.
The Creek’s congregation has hosted this event annually for over 15 years as a fundraiser for the youth summer mission trip. In the past, the youth have been able to take trips through the organization YouthWorks. They have gone in recent years to locations such as Washington D.C., Toronto, Canada, and Brooklyn, N.Y. The youth plan to travel to the Appalachian Mountains in North Carolina for summer 2020.
