Nurse And Inmate Face Charges Over Trafficking Allegation
WARSAW — Charges are pending against a jail nurse allegedly attempting to provide drugs to an inmate at the Kosciusko County Jail.
Jessica Frost, a contract jail nurse, was apprehended Wednesday night, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office.
The sheriff’s office points out that Frost is not a sheriff’s employee, but instead works on a contractual basis.
Also facing charges related to the case is Jonathan Fry, an inmate in the jail since June 19.
Frost was taken into custody and then sent to a neighboring facility for security reasons.
An investigation began by NET43 after authorities received a tip regarding potential narcotic trafficking in the jail.
No other details about the case were released.
The matter remains under review by the Kosciusko County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
