Troop 10380 Collecting Candy For Girl Scout Silver Award
WARSAW — Have any extra candy around the house you want to get rid of? Girl Scout Troop #10380 is organizing a candy drive for unwanted candy to give to organizations with kids who can use it. All of this effort is going toward earning their Girl Scout Silver Award, the highest Girl Scout award a Girl Scout cadette can earn.
The troop met with Warsaw Mayor Joe Thallemer on Tuesday and was able to set up a donation box at City Hall. Troop member Elisabeth Josellis would like to thank them and all the businesses who will have set out donation boxes through Nov. 8 to collect unwanted candy.
The Girl Scouts candy collection boxes will be at these businesses:
- Anytime Fitness
- Baker Youth Club
- Chimps Comix
- Collier’s Dance Studio
- Giverny Fitness Studio
- H & L Auto
- KC Recycling
- Positive Fitness
- Warsaw City Hall’s Wastewater Bill Collection Office
- Workout Anytime
- WRSW Radio
