Wind Advisory Posted For Halloween Night, Snow Possible Late
WARSAW — Cold, wet and blustery conditions await trick or treaters who venture outside across much of northern Indiana on Thursday, Oct. 31.
The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory from 3 p.m. to midnight with winds gusting to 45 mph Thursday night.
There is a 100 percent chance of rain Thursday and rainfall totals could be as much as a half an inch. The chance of rain will taper off tonight, but temperatures will continue to fall.
Thursday’s high will be 44 and the overnight low will fall to about 26.
The weather service said the likelihood of light snow is possible after 11 p.m.
Friday will be sunny with a high of 43 and an overnight low of 30.
Representatives of six communities in Kosciusko County announced on Wednesday they were shifting trick or treat hours from Thursday to Friday because of weather concerns.
