Arthur Dale Kendall, 87, rural Roann, died at 2 a.m. Monday, Oct. 28, 2019, at his home.
He was born July 14, 1932, in Wabash, to Alton and Pauline (Tomson) Kendall.
He was a 1950 graduate of LaFontaine High School and served two years in the US Army. He married Mary Lou Reed at the Treaty Church of Christ on Sept. 1, 1955. He was a longtime farmer, a life member of Bachelor Creek Church of Christ and a long-time Chicago Cubs fan. He enjoyed golf cart rides with his grandkids and mowing his yard.
He is survived by his wife: Mary Lou Kendall, rural Roann; three children: Jay (Cynthia) Kendall and Jenny (Mike) See, both of rural Roann; and Kathy (Chuck) Lindley of Pegram, Tenn.; five grandchildren: Annie Hughes, Peru; Stephanie (Justin) Hove, Portland, Ore.; Aaron (Michelle) See, Macy; Ryan (Nikki) Kendall, Akron; and Andrew (Megan) See, Peru; 12 great-grandchildren; and a brother: Arlen (Diane) Kendall, Wabash. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother: Gene Kendall.
Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service Roann Chapel, 335 S. Chippewa St., Roann, with Ryan Keim officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
