Grace College To Host 30th Annual FunFest
WINONA LAKE — Grace College will host the 30th annual FunFest on Friday, Oct. 25, from 6 – 8 p.m. in the Gordon Health and Wellness Center, 100 Publishers Dr., Winona Lake.
FunFest is free and open to all children and their families.
This year’s theme is a beach party. Children are invited to dress-up in the beach theme or in the costume of their choosing, said a news release from Grace College
“Funfest is a chance for Grace College students to serve the children and families of the Warsaw community,” said Katie Miller, a second-year student at Grace College and organizer of 2019 FunFest.
At FunFest, around 75 Grace College student volunteers will provide entertainment including bouncy houses and games, as well as food and candy for attendees. FunFest has been a tradition on Grace’s campus for 30 years. It is coordinated by SERVE – the student-led ministry club at Grace.
“Each fall, it’s a blessing to provide hundreds of children a memorable, fun event around Halloween. Regardless of the weather, we always have a warm and safe environment for kids in the Gordon Health and Wellness Center,” said Kearstin Criswell, director of student involvement at Grace College. “We look forward to hosting our 30th FunFest this year!”
