Real Services Seeking Volunteers, Support For Christmas Program
WARSAW — Each year, REAL Services helps community members and organizations reach hundreds of elderly and disabled clients who are in need of everyday necessities and a bit of holiday cheer.
The agency is seeking support that can come in several ways.
Foremost, clients need numerous necessities. Those include new toothbrushes, socks, or a winter hat.
Here are three ways to participate:
BE AN ELF — By “adopting” an elder or a group of elderS. Participants purchase items from their wish list, and then deliver them to their home by Dec. 20. The program includes Elkhart, Kosciusko, LaPorte, Marshall, and St. Joseph counties. To participate, you can register here.
DONATE GIFT CARDS — The most popular requests for gift cards from REAL Services seniors include Meijer, Walmart, Kroger, and Martin’s Supermarket.
MAKE A FINANCIAL DONATION — The agency is also seeking support through financial contributions and let our staff do the shopping and deliver your gifts for you. Learn more here.
