NORTH WEBSTER — Tis the season to be scared, so come to North Webster Community Public Library and watch a comedy horror film in the Adult Services Department at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28.
The showing will be a 1986 rock musical about a nerdy florist who finds his chance for success and romance with the help of a giant man-eating plant. With a cast of iconic comedy actors, the movie is rated PG-13. So come and scream with laughter and enjoy the free popcorn, said a news release from the North Webster Community Public Library.
Earlier Oct. 28 at 10 a.m. Voyager Book Club meets to discuss fiction books. This is a different kind of book club in that participants read a book of their choice within each month’s assigned genre. The genre for the Oct. 28 meeting is fiction, so if you have read a good novel lately, bring it to share and discuss. With others sharing, you may discover books and authors you would not have found on your own.
Adult coloring is a popular form of relaxation and creativity. Coloring with other adults adds an element of fun and fellowship as well, so bring your coloring supplies to the Adult Services Department 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30 and enjoy an informal afternoon of coloring and chatting.
