Provident Drive To Be Microsealed On Sunday
WARSAW — Provident Drive in Warsaw will be closed for micro sealing on Sunday, Oct. 20.
This work is dependent on weather and temperatures. The road will remain closed to through traffic until completion, according to a news release from the city of Warsaw.
Access will remain open to medical and care facilities along Provident Drive that are open on Sundays, but there may be minor delays, at times.
Street repairs on weekends are rare in most cities, but the effort is being made in Warsaw for two reasons. It will be less disruptive to the medical offices on the road and contractors are trying to squeeze in more work before winter weather arrives, according to a spokesperson for the city.
Micro sealing is a preventative maintenance program used by the city.
The closure is only anticipated to be for one day.
