Milford Man Booked For Alleged Robbery, Intimidation, Battery
WARSAW — A Milford man was recently booked in the Kosciusko County Jail for alleged robbery, intimidation, and battery.
Ociel Vallejo Jr, 32, 12656 North CR 250 East, Milford, was charged with robbery with a deadly weapon, a level 3 felony; intimidation with a deadly weapon, a level 5 felony; possession of methamphetamine, a level 6 felony; battery moderate bodily injury, a level 6 felony; and theft, a class A misdemeanor.
On Sept. 26, a Warsaw Police officer responded to a report of battery at the Timeout Inn, Warsaw. The officer saw a man walk away from the establishment as the officer approached. The officer identified the man as Ociel Vallejo Jr. The officer saw another man whose nose was bleeding.
The officer spoke with the man who said he met Vallejo Jr. at the Timeout Inn. The man said they left the bar and went to his vehicle. He said that Vallejo Jr. wanted him to smoke methamphetamine. The man said he declined.
Vallejo Jr. and the man began arguing. He said he threw the glass pipe Vallejo Jr. provided out of the car window. The man said Vallejo Jr. drew a semi-automatic handgun from his waistband. He said Vallejo Jr. placed the handgun against his head and demanded money or Vallejo would kill him.
The man said Vallejo Jr. stole his wallet, iPhone and a gold bracelet. The man’s wallet was said to contain his driver’s license, credit cards and $40 in cash.
Vallejo Jr. moved the handgun to the man’s stomach, he said. Vallejo Jr. showed him the gun was loaded. When Vallejo Jr. did not have the handgun pointed to him, the man jumped from the vehicle and ran to the Timeout Inn, he said. Vallejo Jr. left the parking lot in his own vehicle.
The man said that those in the bar at the time of the incident wouldn’t call the police. Vallejo Jr. drove back into the Timeout’s parking lot and exited his vehicle. The man and Vallejo Jr. began arguing again. The man said Vallejo Jr. head-butted him in the nose, causing his nose to bleed.
Oceil Vallejo Jr. was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail, Sept. 26 with a bond of $20,250 surety and cash.
