Jr. Warrior Basketball Prepping For Fifth Year
SYRACUSE – The Wawasee basketball program is proud to announce its preparations for the fifth year of the Junior Warrior League.
The League, for boys in kindergarten through fifth grade, is a fundamentals-based league that incorporates practice and instruction into games. The season starts with an evaluation period on Oct. 24, K-3 from 6-7:30 p.m. and fourth and fifth grades from 7:30-8:30 p.m. That will help form teams to participate in a six-week session that includes six practices and six games beginning Oct. 27 and running through Dec. 14.
The cost per player for the league is $50, which includes a T-shirt and the League will be recognized during a Wawasee varsity boys basketball home game.
