Officers with the Warsaw Police Department responded to the following accidents:
8:49 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14, East Smith Street near South Bronson Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Hunter D. Littleton, 16, East Lantern Road, Warsaw; and Candace M. May, 36, South Colfax Street, Warsaw. Littleton said he was driving his vehicle out of the Baker Youth Club parking lot to proceed west on East Smith Street. He said he did not see May’s vehicle traveling west on East Smith Street. Littleton said he pulled out in front of May’s vehicle, he struck the right side of May’s vehicle with the front bumper of his vehicle. Damages up to $5,000.
9:21 a.m. Monday, Oct. 14, South Detroit Street near East Market Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Ayla J. Stoltz, 25, East CR 1300 North, Syracuse; and Thomas R. Williams, 73, Laurelwood Drive, Warsaw. Stoltz was stopped in her vehicle behind William’s vehicle at the intersection of South Detroit Street and East Market Street. Stoltz bent over to pick up a hairbrush. Her foot slipped off the brake and the front of Stolz’s vehicle collided with the rear of Willam’s vehicle. Damages up to $2,500.
2:23 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13, Lake City High Way near Parker Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Kara N. Kamp, 31, Saint Mary’s Drive, Warsaw; and Joshua C. Lee, 22, Chestnut Street, Winona Lake. Kamp was in her vehicle behind Lee’s vehicle stopped at the intersection of Lake City Highway and Parker Street. She thought Lee was going to turn right at a red light, continued forward and the front of Kamp’s vehicle collided with the rear of Lee’s vehicle. Damages up to $5,000.
2:56 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11, 1 Tiger Lane, Warsaw. Drivers: Jayton R. Brock, 18, South Old State Road 15, Warsaw; and Leona K. Sellers, 16, Wexford Place, Warsaw. Brock backed his vehicle into Sellers’ vehicle as he was pulling out of a parking space. Damages up to $2,500.
