Family Bingo And More At North Webster Library
NORTH WEBSTER — While Wawasee Schools students are off for fall break, they can have fun playing family bingo at North Webster Community Public Library at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 21.
It is fun and easy to play for kids of all ages. Multiple rounds are played with each round lasting until everyone bingos. Everyone wins and the kids get to choose their prizes, according to a news release from the North Webster Community Public Library.
It is more fun and games when the Adults Services Department hosts Adult Game Day at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22. It is free to come and join with others to play a group party game.
Later that evening at 5 p.m. enjoy some comfort food at Revolving Recipe Round-Up. The food focus is on potatoes. Prepare a dish made with potatoes and bring them to share, along with the recipe. The library provides table service and coffee.
Other events of the week include Writer’s Corner at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 21, during which participants will share the compositions they have written about something that happened in the woods. Summer Book Club follows at 5:30 p.m. with members discussing the thriller “What Remains of Her” by Eric Rickstad.
Let’s Move dance-exercise class meets at 6 p.m. every Thursday to dance away the pounds. This free fitness class is open to adults of all ages and fitness levels.
The Youth Department will show an animated family movie at 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, about a lovable canine detective and his gang of sleuths who try to rescue an old haunted movie theater. Free popcorn included.
