Farmers And Artisans Market Hosts Fall Festival
WARSAW — Only two weekends remain for the Kosciusko County Farmers and Artisans Market’s outdoor season, which will end Oct. 26. After that date, the market will be held one Saturday a month at the Center Lake Pavilion during their winter season.
The market is held on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The outdoor season runs from May-October in downtown Warsaw on Center Street between Buffalo and Lake streets.
Local produce, maple syrup, baked goods, micro-greens. fruit butters, soaps, candles, jewelry and unique handmade items are available for purchase at the market.
On Saturday, the market celebrated the end of the outdoor season with its second annual Fall Festival.
In addition to the weekly vendors, the Fall Festival featured free family events such as pumpkin tic-tac-toe, pumpkin ring toss and corn hole.
The market also held its second annual pie baking contest. Following the judging of the pies, the remainder of the pies were sold by the slice, with proceeds going to Combined Community Services’ food bank.
