Get Ready For The 10th Annual Nocturnal Bike Ride In Winona Lake, Saturday
WINONA LAKE — Grace College’s Nocturnal Crew hosts its 10th annual Nocturnal Bike Ride, Saturday, Oct. 12.
To participate in the ride, meet The Nocturnal Crew at the MOCC (on the Grace College campus), at 610 Wooster Rd, Winona Lake, at 8 pm on Saturday, Oct. 12, said a news release from Grace College.
The course this year circles around Winona Lake. This community ride will begin at the Manahan Orthopaedic Capital Center and cruise through the campus of Grace College, by the Village at Winona, around Winona Lake and back up through the greenway trails back to where it began.
Begun with the purpose of bringing the community out for a fun and engaging event, Nocturnal also doubles as a fundraiser for local area families,
The event is free, but donations for this event will go to people in need in the local community.
The Nocturnal 10 Ride is a community event that invites all ages to enjoy a leisurely bike ride around Winona Lake entirely in the dark. There will be a full police escort – those interested don’t want to miss it.
The Nocturnal crew encourages riders to grab a few friends, trick out their bike with flashing glow lights, throw on all of the reflective gear they own and meet the Noctural crew in the dark.
Parking onsite at the MOCC. Overflow parking available across the street. Remember to arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of the ride to confirm registration and to hear the pre-ride instructions. Make sure to hang around after the ride for a chance to win one of two $500 Amazon gift cards. (Riders must be present to win).
Adventure meets community. That’s what the event is all about.
This fun-filled night will have riders talking for days and is made possible by Grace College and Core Mechanical Services INC.
