Toby Joe Yoh
Toby Joe Yoh, 47, Silver Lake, passed away at 3:30 a.m. Oct. 6, 2019, at his residence. He was born May 27, 1972, in Mountain Home, Idaho to Harold B. and Jilda M. (Searfoss) Yoh.
He grew up in Scott, Ohio and Ligonier. He graduated from West Noble High School in 1990, served in the United States Army for five years, and served an additional three years in the United States Army Reserve. On Aug. 23, 2013, in Milford, he was married to Amanda (Watson) Mansiz who survives. He was a truck driver and formerly worked at Tenneco in Ligonier. He previously lived in the North Webster and Warsaw areas before moving to Silver Lake in 2018.
He is survived by his wife: Amanda Yoh, Silver Lake; stepdaughter, Ayse Mansiz, Silver Lake; father and stepmother: Harold and Daphne Yoh, Leesburg; uncle, Glen Yoh, Decatur; three nieces: Teresa Slone, Linda Napier and Andria Marchand; nephew, Cody Hensley; 11 great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded by his mother, Jilda Yoh, brother, Norman Yoh, sister, Annette Yoh-Faris, great nephew, Dominic Slone, and great niece, Zoey Marchand
Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12, at Owen Family Funeral Home, SR 13 and C.R. 500N, North Webster. A memorial service will follow at 5 p.m. on Saturday in the funeral home.
