Michael A. ‘Mike’ Pavlick
Michael A. “Mike” Pavlick, 80, Warsaw, passed away at 10:42 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 4, 2019, at his residence. He was born on Aug. 18, 1939, in Charleroi, Penn. to Michael & Rose “Rosie” (Columbus) Pavlick.
He grew up in Pennsylvania and attended high school in Pennsylvania and Marion. He was a United States Army veteran and was the owner and operator of Mike’s Little Italy and other restaurants in Peru, Wabash, Marion, and Windfall. He formerly lived in the Wabash, Peru, and Marion areas before moving to the Warsaw area in 1969 from Windfall.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Wabash, Mizpah Shriners in Fort Wayne, and American Legion Post 223 in Syracuse.
He is survived by two daughters: Michele (David) Seitz, Marion; Denise Pavlick, Indianapolis; three grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; his companion, Dorothy Marvell, Muncie; two stepsons: Jerry O’Brien, Ashley; Kerry O’Brien, Indianapolis; stepdaughter: Sherry (Jeff) Dalton, Hastings, Mich.; nephew, Buddy Jones, Marion; lifelong friend: Barb Arlington, North Webster; and his faithful canine companion, Molly.
He was preceded in death by his parents and companion: Judy O’Brien
Visitation will be from noon – 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 11, at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd 13 and CR 500N, North Webster. A masonic service will follow at 2 p.m.
