Linda L. Bloom
Linda L. Bloom, 81, Plymouth, passed away Sept. 25, 2019, at Center for Hospice Care, South Bend, after a brief illness.
She was born on Oct. 23, 1937, to Glenn and Pauline (Hoagland) Abram, Sullivan. She has been a Plymouth resident since 1962 and was on the board of Marshall Starke Development for a period of time, Tri Kappa, Red Hat Club and past president of Plymouth Jaycees. She enjoyed playing bridge regularly and sharing time with her wealth of friends she has made over the years.
She was a graduate of Elnora High School and continued her education at Purdue University School of Pharmacy. She spent over 60 years in the drug store business.
On Sept. 5, 1959, she married the love of her life, John Bloom, who survives along with their son: Thomas Alan and wife Tina, Cincinnati, OH, and their daughter, Josephine.
Preceding in death were her parents; a daughter: Lisa Funfer; and Uncle Bill and Daisy.
To honor her life, the family is holding a celebration of life from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, at Deaton-Clemens Van Gilder Funeral Home 300 W. Madison St., Plymouth, IN 46563.
