Two Benefit Races Happening In Winona Lake Saturday
WINONA LAKE — Two benefit races are taking place in Winona Lake on Saturday, Sept. 28.
The Angel Run 5K Run/Walk benefitting The Beaman Home will take place at the Winona Lake Limitless Park. On-site registration for the event starts at 9 a.m., with the run beginning at 10 a.m. Registration for the event is $35 in advance and $40 on-site. Pre-registration for the vent includes a bib and T-shirt. On-site registration does not guarantee a T-shirt. Awards will be presented at 11:30 a.m.
The 35th Anniversary Block Party after the 5K Run/Walk will start at noon. There will be food trucks, local performers, games and face painting. Admittance to the block party celebration is free.
At 3 p.m., the 60 Minute Ride/Run Trail Fundraiser benefitting the Winona Lake trails will start. Participants can ride, run or walk the trails or greenway. Pass through The Garden at Winona during each lap for a free beverage. There is a $20 registration fee, with registration and check-in starting at 2:30 p.m.
The Ride/Run Trail Fundraiser is taking place during the Oktoberfest event at Winona Lake.
