Milford Man Arrested For Child Molestation That Allegedly Continued For Years
MILFORD — A Milford man was recently arrested after allegedly molesting a child for six years.
Lars Eric Gustafson, 37, 107 N. West St., Milford, is charged with child molesting, a level 1 felony; and vicarious sexual gratification, a level 4 felony.
On Sept. 25, an officer with Milford Police responded to a report of child molesting involving a victim at Kosciusko Community Hospital. The officer went to the hospital and spoke with the child, who said Gustafson had been engaging in sexual conduct with her.
According to court documents, the child was interviewed at the Fort Wayne Sexual Assault Treatment Center. The child said on Sept. 23, she was in her bedroom when Gustafson engaged in sexual conduct with her. She said the sexual contact had been occurring approximately twice a week for the last six years and that Gustafson would have her inappropriately touch herself.
On Sept. 25, Gustafson went to the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office and admitted to coaching the child on how to inappropriately touch herself. He also admitted to having sexual intercourse with the child.
Gustafson was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on Sept. 26, with a $50,250 surety and cash bond.
