Kenneth A. Eastwood
Kenneth A. Eastwood, 67, Kewanna, passed away unexpectedly at 12:55 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23, 2019, at his residence.
Born on Feb. 27, 1952, in Franklin, he was the son of the late Donald P. and Hazel Mae (Snow) Eastwood.
On Feb. 3, 1973, he married Mae Bartram. She preceded him in death on Sept. 6, 2017.
He was a life-long and talented brick mason, drawing plans and building anything he set his mind to. He loved old cars, trucks and hot rods. He enjoyed the outdoors, western movies and country music.
He was known for his kind heart. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. But most of all, he loved his family. He loved providing for and spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. Family meant everything to him. He is now home with his soulmate, Mae; and baby daughter, Stephanie. He is free.
He was a member of Church of the Heartland in Winamac.
Survivors include his daughters: Ange Blanchard (Jordan Brown) and Trina Doty (Josh Demond), both of Kewanna; a son: Nicholas Eastwood (Crystal Henry), Kewanna; brothers: Larry (Barb) Eastwood, Arizona; Terry (Patty) Eastwood, Kewanna; Phillip (Debbie) Eastwood, Kewanna; Rick (Cindy) Eastwood, Virginia; and Gary Eastwood, Argos; and a sister: Susie Eastwood, Florida. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who loved him dearly.
He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Stephanie Crissinger; and sons-in-law: Brian Doty and Christopher Blanchard.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, at Harrison-Metzger-Rans Funeral Home, Kewanna Chapel with Pastor Heath Hiatt officiating.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 30, at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Citizens IOOF Cemetery in Kewanna.
