Joseph F. Cosgrove Jr.
Joseph “Joe” F. Cosgrove Jr., 65, Silver Lake, passed away at 6:37 p.m., Monday, Sept. 16, 2019, in Akron. He was born April 24, 1954, in Warsaw, to Joseph F. Sr. and Regina (Waterson) Cosgrove. He married Debra Huggins on Sept. 2, 2004, in Bloomington.
He lived in Kosciusko County most of his life. He worked as a print press operator, retiring from R. R. Donnelly. He enjoyed sports including, baseball, football, basketball and enjoyed running. He was a volunteer worker at Magical Meadows for the past ten years and loved working with the children and adults. He was a member of Spirit of Faith Fellowship, Goshen and Cowboy Church at Magical Meadows, Warsaw.
He is survived by his wife Debra Cosgrove of Silver Lake; sons: Joseph F. (Kirstin) Cosgrove III of Fallbrook, Calif.; Nathan (Jessica) Cosgrove of Hemet, Calif.; step-children; Saun (Tatiana) Miller and Shae Miller both of Millersburg; four grandchildren and three step-grandchildren; siblings: Greg (Diana) Cosgrove of Lee Summit, Mo.; Jean (Mitch) Brown of Warsaw; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Bill and Mark Cosgrove.
The memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28, at Magical Meadows. Pastor Carl Adams will be officiating. Friends may visit with the family from noon until 1 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery at a later date.
