WCHS Safety Concern Deemed Non-Credible
WARSAW — At approximately 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18, officials at Warsaw Community Schools received notification of a potential safety concern at Warsaw Community High School.
As per safety protocols, a precautionary lock-in was initiated to allow administrators and police to conduct an investigation. The lock-in status allows classroom activities to continue as planned.
Local authorities were able to quickly confirm that the aforementioned safety concern is a non-credible threat to student safety. Activities and parent pick-up will continue as scheduled.
Warsaw Community Schools would like to thank staff at WCHS and officers with Warsaw Police Department for their continued vigilance in ensuring student safety. As a reminder, any false reports or threats will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
