Special Olympics Competes At Shriver Games
INDIANAPOLIS – Special Olympic athletes from Kosciusko County competed in the Eunice Kennedy Shriver Games held in Indianapolis on the campus of Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School. Approximately 1200 athletes participated.
The EKS Games, which began with festive opening ceremonies, are named for the late Eunice Kennedy Shriver, national founder of Special Olympics.
Local athletes competed in Corn Toss and Flag Football.
Flag Football Results
The Kosciusko County Panthers placed first in their division winning gold medals. The other teams in their division included: Morgan County Stallions, Shelby County Bears & Washington Township Panthers.

There were 24 athletes from Kosciusko County that competed in corn toss competition.
