GOSHEN BOYS 19, WAWASEE 41; CONCORD BOYS 21, WAWASEE 38; GOSHEN 22, CONCORD 33
Wawasee’s boys cross country team slid to an 0-4 start in the Northern Lakes Conference with losses to both Concord and host Goshen on the road Tuesday evening.
Michael Hammer finished third overall for the Warriors in a time of 17:54. Karlson Hand placed 10th in 18:43, Cam Powell was 15th in 19:30, Trevor Smith finished 17th in 19:377, and Josiah Boyer completed Wawasee’s team score in 22nd place with a 20:18 stop.
Concord’s Noah Wright paced the field in 17:32, and Drew Hogan finished second for the host RedHawks in a time of 17:48.

Like their boys counterparts, Wawasee’s girls cross country team lost a pair of Northern Lakes Conference meets at a triangular in Goshen Tuesday.
Emma Ebright was first across the line for the Lady Warriors in seventh place in a time of 23:40. Cammy Krider was ninth in 23:59, Bailey Mayhew was 12th in 24:36, and Lpily Tyler, Mariah Hurst and Ella Beezley finished in order in 14th through 16th place with respective times of 24:43, 24:44 and 24:52.
Concord’s Summer Cooper won the race in 20:51, and Sophia Yordy paced Goshen in 21:50.
WARSAW BOYS 24, ELKHART MEMORIAL 32; WARSAW BOYS 22, NORTHRIDGE 35
Warsaw’s boys cross country team collected a pair of Northern Lakes Conference wins Tuesday night, defeating Elkhart Memorial and Northridge.
Jacob Kissling paced the Tigers in 17:11, good enough for second overall, and Sam Lechlitner was close behind in third with a 17:21 stop. Tanner Stiver finished sixth (17:31), followed by Harrison Phipps in eighth (17:40) and Luke Nier in ninth (17:59).
WARSAW GIRLS 20, ELKHART MEMORIAL 42; NORTHRIDGE GIRLS 22, WARSAW 32
Warsaw’s girls cross country team easily handled Memorial but fell to a talented Northridge team at home Tuesday.
The Lady Tigers took were paced by Wini Barnett with Ava Knight, Erika Bugg, Macelyn Marcuccilli and Jadyn Koliak finished off the scoring.
Warsaw will be back at it again Saturday, running the Wildcat Classic at IWU.
