Warsaw Hosting Pavilion Ribbon Cutting
WARSAW – Warsaw is preparing for its celebration of a new pavilion between its tennis and soccer complexes.
The celebration, set for this Saturday, Sept. 14, will have a taco fiesta attached to the event. Tickets for the taco meal are $7, with proceeds intended to help offset the cost of the structure. The ribbon cutting for the pavilion will take place at 10:45 a.m., with food to be served after the cutting until 3:30 p.m.
While the pavilion will celebrate the tennis and soccer programs, all fans of Warsaw athletics are invited to attend. The boys tennis team will be hosting its annual Tiger Tennis Tournament, an eight-team field that traditionally has included some of the top programs in northern Indiana. The tournament is set to begin at 9 a.m.
Also in action on campus this Saturday will be the Tiger freshman volleyball team, playing at 9 a.m. in its home invitational, JV football playing Elkhart Memorial at 10 a.m. at Fisher Field, the girls soccer team hosting Fishers with a JV/varsity doubleheader starting at 11 a.m., and across Logan Street, there will be a middle school cross country invitational starting at 9 a.m.
