Local Conference to Help You Impact Your Family for Christ
Our community has a rich Christian heritage, and we ought to be thankful for that! Yet, if that legacy is to continue into the future, the health of our families is going to play a pivotal role. Many in our community want to have a deep impact on their family for the sake of Christ, yet family life can leave us feeling overwhelmed and discouraged at times, not knowing what to do or where to turn. At Christ’s Covenant Church, we’re hosting a one-day conference to help you as you seek to live out your faith within the complexities of family life.
The Gospel Shaped Family Conference has been designed to provide you with biblical wisdom and practical guidance–whether as a spouse, parent, or grandparent. Gifted pastors and teachers from all over the country have been invited to teach on a wide range of relevant topics, including among others: handling conflict within marriage, parenting teenagers, relating to adult children, evaluating extracurriculars, maintaining intimacy within marriage, handling parental discipline, and passing a gospel legacy to our grandchildren.
The conference, which will take place at Christ’s Covenant Church, will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21 and will end by 3:45 p.m. Early bird registration, which lasts through Sept. 10, is only $15, which includes a boxed lunch from McAlister’s Deli and a copy of Family Worship by Don Whitney.
