Bell Memorial Library Promoting Library Card Sign-Up Month
MENTONE — Bell Memorial Public Library will be open again on Sundays starting today, Sunday, Sept. 8. Sunday hours are from 1 to 5 p.m.
September is Library Card Sign-up Month. In honor of Library Card Sign-Up Month, Bell Memorial Public Library is hosting a Library Scavenger Hunt. This will begin on Tuesday, Sep. 3 and continue until Monday, Sept. 30.
Each participant will be given a punch card. Visit each of the participating libraries and have a librarian punch your card. Then bring it back to Bell Memorial Library and pick which prize you would like to try and win. You do not need to have a library card to play, but you will get extra entries toward the giveaways for signing up. Please note, not all library cards are provided for free.
Participating libraries include Bell Memorial Public Library, Akron Carnegie Public Library, Argos Public Library, Bourbon Public Library, Rochester Library, Milford Public Library and Syracuse Public Library. We would like to thank our sponsors for helping to make this Library Scavenger Hunt possible including North Pointe Cinema, It’s Whimsicality, Java Jack, Martin’s Supermarket, Terri’s This and That, Deli N Dough, TJ’s Crafts & Home Décor and Pete and Freddy’s Pages Aplenty Bookstore!
