Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:
2:34 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, North SR 19 and West CR 1100N, Etna Green. Drivers: James Slabaugh, 18, West CR 1100N, Milford; and Jesse Skeans, 44, West CR 800N, Nappanee. Slabaugh’s vehicle was westbound on CR 1100N when he reached down for his lunch pail and ran the stop sign, colliding with Skean’s vehicle. Damages up to $25,000.
10:11 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, North CR 175E, south of East CR 75N, Warsaw. Driver: Kimberly Moyotyl, 20, East CR 200N, Warsaw. Moyotyl’s vehicle struck a deer in the roadway. Damages up to $2,500.
6:55 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, West CR 100S, west of South CR 950W, Etna Green. Drivers: Tara Depew,45, West CR 125N, Etna Green; and Roseline Slone, 55, 18th Road, Tippecanoe. Depew was driving southbound on CR 950W, stopped at the stop sign and proceeded into the intersection, striking Slone’s vehicle. Slone was westbound on CR 100S and did not have a stop sign. Damages up to $10,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
5:35 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, Jalynn Street and SR 15, Warsaw. drivers: Ronald Butler, 67, Benton Street, Millersburg; and Nicholas Wagner, 20, Academic Place, Fort Wayne. Butler turned his vehicle too sharply at the intersection, striking Wagner’s vehicle. Damages up to $2,500.
2:33 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, South Hand Ave., north of SR 25, Warsaw. Driver: Steven Foreman, 47, Indiana Street, Warsaw. Foreman was traveling eastbound on SR 25 when he fell asleep while driving. Foreman’s vehicle went off the roadway and struck a traffic sign on Hand Avenue. Damages up to $25,000.
2:49 p.m. Monday, Sept. 2, 510 E. Market St., Warsaw. Driver: Zulema Flores, 44, Perry Drive, Milford. Flores was backing out of a parking space and struck a parked car registered to Sheila Barry, Warsaw. Damages up to $10,000.
