Dewey M. Conley
Dewey M. Conley, 85, formerly of Warsaw, passed away at 2:36 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 2, 2019, at Visiting Nurse & Hospice in Fort Wayne. He was born Dec. 20, 1933, in Paintsville, Ky. to Daniel and Elizabeth (Allen) Conley.
He grew up in Kentucky, graduated from high School there, and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Western University in Bowling Green, Ky. He moved to the Warsaw area more than 50 years ago from Kentucky. He retired from Warsaw Plating Works after 20 years and formerly worked for N.I.P.S.CO in Gary.
He was a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Plymouth.
He is survived by three daughters: Trudy (Breck) Walls of Pierceton, Elizabeth (Brooks) Walls of Mentone, and Judy (Bill) Fereill of Indianapolis; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren; sister, Jessie Watkins, Gary.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Wilbur Conley, two sisters: Rena Jane and Minnie, and three brothers: D. B. Benny, and Daniel.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. SR 15, Warsaw. A private family graveside service will take place at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Pierceton with Pastor William Whitaker of the Warsaw Family Worship Center officiating.
