PIERCETON — A local rock band is hosting a public (all ages) dance party this weekend at Jellystone Park in Pierceton.
John Finken, a longtime local rock and roll entertainer who was a member CODA, will bring the new generation of that band, CODA Legacy, to Jellystone for a show that starts at 8 p.m. Sunday.
The show is a chance for younger people to check out their show. It is free and open guests at Jellystone.
“These shows also give me a chance to invite all ages of our family, friends, their children and all of my weekly percussion students to see a local live show,” Finken said. “It gives my students the opportunity to see what it’s like and what I do in a live band situation.”
CODA Legacy performed at the park on Memorial Day weekend early this year.
“Jellystone has a great captivated audience that seems to love good music,” he said.
There will be bouncy houses and food trucks available.
CODA is celebrating 32 years of live music this year, Finken said.
