Warsaw Career Center Services Announced For September
WARSAW — The Warsaw Career Center offers monthly workshops that can be completed in increments, with assessments and certifications upon completion. This is the place people can prepare for a growing business and manufacturing world that demands more digital literacy and online and technical skills.
The Beaman Home Outreach Hours
Every Tuesday The Beaman Home will hold outreach office hours at the Warsaw Goodwill Career Center from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm to connect survivors of trauma, domestic abuse and sexual assault with services at The Beaman Home. Services include counseling, support group, life skills, job skills and case management. All services are free of charge.

Interactive Basic Computers with Kahoot!
Kahoot! is a game-based learning and trivia platform that we will utilize to review and challenge your knowledge of how to use a basic computer. You can play along with your phone, or we can provide you with a laptop to participate. We’ll use a mix of visual aids and multiple-choice options regarding essential computer functions, programs, and how to operate a computer. This simple, fun, easy to use platform will be your entry point into becoming a competent computer user. And, we’ll review each question so that you’ll walk away with more knowledge. Participate in this event and we’ll provide you with our Bronze Level Digital Skills Certification.

Open Practice Interviews
The Goodwill Career Center will host open mock interviews for anyone who would like to practice their interview skills.

Veterans Employment Services
Daniel Reed from Work One will be at the Goodwill Career Center to provide information for veterans on services in the local area. He will offer one-on-one employment help, employer resources, information on benefits and contacts for further services.

All programs at the Career Center at 751 Anchorage Point Drive in Warsaw are free and open to the public.
