Jordan Joseph Schultz
Jordan Joseph Schultz, 29, Akron, passed at 12:48 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2019 at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne.
He was born on March 4, 1990 in Warsaw to Anthony Schultz and Janet Cook.
He married on June 12, 2010, in Rochester, to Danielle Ortega, she survives.
He had been a router at AIA Countertops in Syracuse, for several years.
He was a 2008 graduate of Rochester High School. He then served in the Army National Guard in the Airborne Infantry. He attended New Life Christian Church & World Outreach in Warsaw. He was baptized in the New Life Baptist Church of God in Wabash. He was known as an avid wrestler and in high school, he took 6th in the Nationals in 2004. He also was Indiana State Champion through USA wrestling. He loved to go to Salamonie hiking and fishing with his wife and always enjoyed family.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Samantha Harshman, grandparents: Barbara Nash, Joe Cook and Edie Minks.
Funeral services will take place at 2 p.m., Monday, Aug. 26, in the Beaver Dam United Methodist Church 9798 W. 1000 S. Akron, with Pastor Teri White officiating.
Visitation will take place from noon to 2 p.m., Monday, Aug. 26, 2019 at Beaver Dam United Methodist Church.
Arrangements are entrusted to Hartzler Funeral Home 305 West Rochester Street Akron.
