NET 43 Arrests Five At Two Kosciusko County Residences
WARSAW — An interdiction detail conducted by NET 43 on Aug. 15 led to multiple arrests in Kosciusko County.
Frank Sterling Daniels, 34, Middlebury, is being charged with dealing in methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine and maintaining a common nuisance.
Kendall Elizabeth Rodgers, 25, Middlebury, is being charged with dealing in methamphetamine and possession of a narcotic drug.
Chad Allen Thompson, 52, Warsaw, is being charged with maintaining a common nuisance and possession of methamphetamine.
Troy Douglas Howard, 52, Pierceton; and Maryjean Emline Howard, 51, Elkhart, are each being charged with dealing in methamphetamine.
Based upon intelligence gathered from several traffic stops, NET 43 officers obtained a search warrant for 4542 W. CR 400N, Warsaw. Assisted by the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office, Warsaw Police Department and Lutheran EMS, Kosciusko County and Warsaw SWAT units converged upon the Warsaw residence.
In addition to 131 grams of methamphetamine and 1 gram of heroin, officers recovered an abundance of stolen tools and lawn equipment from the premises. With an estimated value of approximately $25,000, law enforcement agencies in Kosciusko and Marshall Counties are sifting through case reports, attempting to track the property. It has been confirmed that several of the tools were taken from storage units throughout the area. Many of the items have not been identified, as the owners may not be aware of their disappearance. During this search, Daniels, Rodgers and Thompson were taken into custody.
A separate search warrant was executed at 8280 E. US 30, Lot 52, Pierceton, by NET 43. Officers found an ounce of methamphetamine inside the residence, resulting in the arrests of Maryjean and Troy Howard. The Howards were taken into custody.
